Romance is in the air. After writing about 13 Romance tips, and then 7 more — most of which I had gleaned from past experience or suggestions from friends — it was fun to see that Ashton Kutcher offered a romance tip for lovers in this age of texting and Twittering. It was one of the suggestions already on my list.
Write a real love letter and mail it. It is important to tell someone how much he or she means to you.

8 more romantic ideas
Since I am on a bit of a romantic roll, I decided to keep on looking. Then I remembered a book which evolved as a result of classes taught in Boston and Washington: 1001 Ways to be Romantic by Gregory J.P.Godek. He wrote what he called a Handbook for Men and a Godsend to Women. Here are more suggestions that either of the sexes can bring about more loving joy.
Flowers for him and her
Place a flower under the windshield wiper of his car. (70)
Place a flower on her pillow, just because. ( 76)
Love Is . . .
Love is . . . reading aloud to each other before bed. (401)
Love is . . . having a poem delivered to your table at a restaurant. (403)
At work and around the town
Mail a greeting card to her at work (671) and it works for him as well!
Go for a horse-drawn carriage ride through the city — or the country. (681)
Dining out
Have lunch or dinner in an unusual place. Many museums have nice cafes. Or how about dinner at the airport? Outdoor cafes? Old fashioned diners? (690)
A smile and a kiss
As I have said so often, the greatest gift of love is a sincere expression of letting the world stand still, looking into the eyes of someone you love and giving her or him a kiss, a heartfelt one minute kiss.
