While I am not a morning person, today during the early hours in TwitterTown, Pamela Reinsel Cotter, Thrive editor at the Providence Journal, and Projo Fitness Blog, caught my eye. A minute meditation in which one gazes at a fire and lets go of everything.
Meditation is a sense of heightened awareness that brings about clarity, serenity, and a certain peace of mind.
The Tweet focused on a book by Dan Millman, author of No Ordinary Moments, A Peaceful Warrior’s Guide to Daily Life, suggesting that a brief meditation with a candle can have the same effect as staring into a fire. Light a candle away from anything flammable and sit 12 to 18 inches away from the flame.
“Take a deep breath, center yourself, and imagine yourself surrounded by the loving light of Spirit.” http://bit.ly/9uibDi
Such letting go moments help us to focus on what is important in life. Meditation also prepares the way for love.

Will adjust as soon as the problem, which we thought was solved, is finally solved! Hmm, does one need patience to love daily? It seems so.)
