How does Judge Amy Coney Barrett sleep at night? She is supposedly a Catholic, but she is also a hypocrite.
Regarding President Barack Obama’s “nomination of Merrick Garland to the Supreme Court in 2016 following the death of the late Justice Antonin Scalia, a conservative stalwart this is what she suggested. In the interview with CBS News [she noted] that she was against the idea of Mr Obama selecting Mr Garland, often considered an apolitical nominee and centrist judge, because he was not a conservative like justice Scalia.[@chrisriotta
It seems she has developed a case of amnesia.
Her dismal opinions: Amy Coney Barrett is Trump’s pick to replace the brilliant Ruth Bader Ginsburg. She has not only stated that she opposes abortion and the Affordable Care Act, but is a clear gun rights advocate. But even worse, she gave speeches paid by a group that is on the Southern Poverty Law Center’s list of “Hate Groups.”
Today @CatholicDems pointed out: “They [GOP] want to focus on her faith because they don’t want you focusing on her judicial record, particularly when it comes to healthcare and gun safety reform.”
And let’s keep in mind that she put her children in harms way by attending the Trump Superspreader with no masks.
Despite the rising number of deaths in the nation — and the Trump Virus event — Yamiche Alcindor of PBS Newshour, @Yamiche posted “a Video of Capitol Hill reporters insisting WH Chief of Staff Mark Meadows wear a mask while talking with them and Meadows deciding he won’t talk to reporters if he has to wear a mask.”
Barrett is a hypocrite among hypocrites whose husband hurried their children out of the Chamber when Amy Klobuchar spoke the truth:
“Your health care is on the line. [Republicans] are trying to push through a justice who has been critical of upholding the [ACA], and they’re doing it in the middle of a pandemic…You can see here in this room the misled priorities of this Republican-run Senate.” @AmyKlobuchar
Thanksgiving in Canada: Today as the Canadians celebrate Thanksgiving, we can only hang our heads in shame. Somehow we have allowed a corrupt Trump to encourage a Senate filled with dishonesty tear down the country.
Mary L. Trump, Ph.D., in Too Much and Never Enough, said: “Donald, following the lead of my grandfather and with the complicity, silence, and inaction of his siblings, destroyed my father. I can’t let him destroy my country.”
And neither should we allow Trumpism to continue to infect the nation.
